Meet the Artist

Welcome and thank you for choosing Cape Cove Design.  I am Ana Razavi, contemporary self-taught artist with a passion to create and founder of Cape Cove Design.  My art is spontaneous and intuitive.  It incorporates mixed media techniques, combining coastal, floral and abstract elements with inspiration stemming from the everlasting beauty and serenity of nature and the ocean.

Following a 7 year career as a critical care nurse in a leading Boston hospital, I made the decision to leave in order to focus on motherhood and raising my two children in 2021.  My journey with Cape Cove Design began in May of 2022 after my fifth year anniversary trip to beautiful Portland, Maine, where I first discovered my passion for the arts and started creating sustainable jewelry dishes from repurposed oyster shells right from my kitchen table. 

 

As Pablo Picasso once said: “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”  My mission as an artist is to use my art as a vessel to create something beautiful that will not only elevate your space, but also inspire you to live a meaningful life with purpose, while letting your light shine and being your authentic self.  We are all born with unique potential, talent and gifts.  Learning how to awaken this enormous potential, will ultimately lead us to a spiritual awakening, guiding us to a higher purpose and allowing us to live the life of our dreams.  My journey as an artist did not start until I turned 30, so this is your sign that it is never too late to take a chance and transform your trajectory to start living your life with greater vitality, creativity and fulfillment, while doing what you love.  I am so excited to have you join me along, as I embark on this artistic journey and hope that my art will resonate with you.
